For those wondering who Lisbon is or how she got the name, that wasn’t always her name.
In season 1 of the Spanish crime drama Money Heist, or La Casa de Papel, Raquel Murillo was introduced as an inspector of the National Police Corps who was out to get the crew arrested. In the third season, she comes back with a new name – Lisbon, and begins a relationship with The Professor (Alvaro Morte). In season 4, she was arrested and interrogated by Inspector Alicia Sierra who took over her position.
The ending of season 4 left a lot of people with unanswered questions and the most asked question was if the unpredictable Inspector Alicia Sierra would join the gang to save herself and her unborn child OR if she would turn the Professor over to the authorities to try to reduce her punishment?
Here’s what I think. The fact that her character is unpredictable makes it harder to say what step she might take but she is an intelligent lady and she has lost her integrity with the revelations and her involvement in Rio’s near-death experience. All she has is her pregnancy and there is already a warrant for her arrest.
I bet she might join the gang, then take her share of the loot far away to bring up her child while being Proffesor number 2. She implicated the whole govt so that is unforgettable or unforgivable and many international bodies are already aware of her involvement so taking the Professor in won’t make that go away. The best option would be to team up with the Professor and her job would obviously involve brainstorming on how to get the gang out of the Bank of Spain.
